Tried to create some Asmodian at a new Account for a good girlish friend of mine.. seems its "full" or not allowed for now if there is no Asmodian Character already on that Acc... someone knows how to solve this ? wait till there are some free spots again or how ? geesh ;x

Anyone else running around with constant lag after last nights sieges?

After I left the Roah siege last night my ping jumped to 1200+ ms and hasn't gone down since. Logged out about 10 hours ago but lag persists upon log in today. Already have a petition up with support, just want to know if I'm the only one with a problem (I-net connection is fine in everything else (vent etc.) just not in Aion for some odd reason)?

That's a lot more eyes on the forum but never forget that the general community as a whole is our greatest set of ours, the feature will continue to be a great asset in maintaining the quality of discussion here at Source.

Forum Layout - Restructured

In other forum news the regulars should have noticed our forum Index has changed a bit. I've decided to clean things up by removing a few redundant forums and changing the layout, you should notice the creation of some new categories and forums too to cater for user demand.

Just to list a few things of note (anyone else noticing the mass-use of lists in this thread?):

Aion Gameplay rearranged, Class Discussion added as a redirect to the now invisible Class forums.
Aion-Related Support Forums category added, now home to all support-based forums.
Macro Discussion forum added for Tips/Tricks/Guides regarding the macro system in Aion. Doesn't hurt to be efficient eh?
Community Forums category added.
Everything Else & The Aion Source cleaned up a bit.

I could go into full detail but I somehow doubt anyone's that interested not to mention this post would get pretty long! Feel free to place any feedback regarding the new layout here or in the Site Feedback section ;)

And that about sums me up for this evening, there's some pretty cool stuff heading our way over the next week or two so keep an eye out!

if i wear a sword main hand and a mace offhand?
how much will the crit multiplier be for with my skills?
x2.2 or x1.8? since mace crit multiplier is lower that sword.... AND will i get the mboost bonus from the mace?

Hallowed Strike and Slashing/Punishing Wind macros possible?

Here's what I want the macros to do...

Let's say I have this key mapping:

1: Hallowed Strike
2: Slashing/Punishing Wind

When I use Hallowed Strike or Slashing/Punishing Wind I want Heaven's Judgment and Divine Touch to replace my keys so it looks like this:

1: Heaven's Judgment
2: Divine Touch

As an example:

I press 1 then 1

1 activates Hallowed Strike
pressing 1 again activates Heaven's Judgment

I press 1 then press 2

1 activates Hallowed Strike
2 activates Divine Touch

I press 2 then 1

2 Slashing/Punishing Wind
1 Heaven's Judgment

I press 2 then 2

2 Slashing/Punishing Wind
2 Divine Touch

The closest thing I can think of is making a macro that casts Slashing/Punishing Wind and Divine Touch in that order (let's say I map this to 2) and leaving Heaven's Judgment as the default 'next move' on the chain. Then I would hit the macro and press 1 which would activate S/P Wind then Heaven's Judgment. And if I wanted to S/P Wind and Divine Touch, I would just hit the macro. The problem with this is that I could only go from Hallowed Strike to Heaven's Judgment and not Hallowed Strike to Divine Touch. I also read that hitting a macro once will make the character cast the entire sequence of skills on the macro so I might not be able to switch from S/P Wind to Heaven's Judgment.

So, can anyone help me with making these macros? Is it even possible to do this?

Breakpoint of crit?

I read somewhere that the max crit rate was somewhere around 450? after that each point of crit gets halfed or so.
Can anyone confirm the amount of crit where the breakpoint turns in?
or enlighten me if im mistaken, or care for a explanation? Thanks!

Please help me out here. I am reading all these threads and I dont understand nothing.
I have alchemy and cooking both at 299 and I want to get my cooking up first to 449.
Some say I need to lvl up alchemy first some disagree. What is the truth from someone who has actually done it please.
And give me details. I lvl up cooking till 399 and then what?who gives me the quest for lvl past 399?Please link so i can figure out the mats for that quest too.

Cant remember which bonuses incresed healing in DAoC but I know there were some
Spellpower does for classes in WoW

Hi Folks

The day after this patch arrived I was playing just like normal. The game worked as it usually does with out any complications.
Suddenly I begin having very high latency 1500~2000. At this ping game becomes unplayable.
Tried to apply the leatrix fix however it made no difference, as expected since it is merely a tweak and what I seem to experience is a serious problem.
So my question is has anyone else experienced this? If so are there any known solutions?

Brief spec summary i7 PC, HD4870, Onboard Realtek NIC, Win7 x64

Both my Girlfriend and I are experiencing the same issue since the patch.

We randomly start auto running while fighting. Checked didn't see anything, but anyone else experiencing this issue, or any ideas on things to fix it?

PvP against Sorcerer in Abyss, total useless now.

Hi. A sorcerer friend told me, and i tested it out. There´s no way to win or STAY Alive against a Sorcerer in Abyss in Flight anymore. Before the patch it was kinda.. well, it was impossible already, but they needed a few skills to kill you, now it´s... Root.. After you´re rooted for 10 seconds, your Wings will close and you cant open them aslong as your rooted anymore. That means you´re falling down and die. But, the Sorcerer will get full Abyss Points for killing you. That means. If you dont have Iron Skin or a greater Healing Potion, even a level 25 sorcerer can kill you when you´re level 45 or something else.
And that after they nerfed Slash Artery and Poison...
What do you think about it? Why is it that caster Sorcerer, Spiritmaster get buffs like hell and are impossible to kill due level 25-45 for a Templar, but or only chance to bring them to stay at the ground (Posion, Bleeding) are nerfed. Arent there enough disadvantages for melees already? :&
Take that as a "whine post", but why are they doing **** like that? It´s not even a fight anymore....
