All I have to say is those armor textures are intense... Again, Aion's graphics definitely live up to my expectations, I just hope the game play is as detailed as the artwork!

Seeing the movies and the old screenshots I think it will be almost exactly. That's if you keep you're settings on high :0..

I have the graphic card (X1900), though I believe I may need to upgrade my RAM to 2 GB before Aion is released to play it nicely.

Yeah 2GB of memory is more or less required even now, if you want to play a game smoothly.

ugh... computer's are getting outdated so fast these days -_- our advancements in technology is increasing exponentially. So different from the past when 4000 BC and 1500 AD is still the same lol. I think Imma get a new computer just for Aion and DirectX 10

Well Directx 10 is goingn to be a beauty I read. In my opinion:

1gb ram = STRAIT GAME, Nothing else running at all.

2gb ram = You can chat , game, ect.

All depends on what's in your pocket.

QuadCore comes out 07 so if you have the big bucks, Wait till then.

I just upgraded my system for Aion about 3 weeks ago.
(2x)Geforce 7900GTX 512gb SLI
(2x)1gb Corsair Twin Extreme Memory DDR2-800
Asus Crosshair Motherboard.
AMD 64 x2 4800+ 2meg cache
(2x) 250 SATA2 Harddrive
800w Antec Power Supply
++Case

Average cost after tax and shipping (before rebates) = 1800$

Video Cards

They look like a hotrod don't they :-p

And as you say the game might not require 2GB of memory to run, or even run smoothly, but it is nevertheless recommended. The game itself may run good on 1GB, i doubt smooth though, and if you want to multi task (not only play Aion) 2GB will be the way to go. Especially so if you plan on running Vista.

Were these released by NCSoft? They look very poor, no offense if you did them. The edges are very.. blocky. Kind of turns me off.
